大家好～不知不覺就到七月了，時間真的過好快呀！

上一篇文章中我們整理了學習英語的重要性，

而在本文中，小編就要來跟大家釐清幾個大家常常錯用的字！

就是See, Watch, Read, Study, Look的用法！

明明都是「看」，為什麼英文有五種看！？

不同用法除了依據是否有意要看見，及注視的東西之外，

還有很多眉眉角角呢！

現在就讓我們一起來學習，這些「看」究竟都在看什麼？

●See／過去式 saw／完成式 seen

See是指「看到」、「看見」、「看得見」，

這可能只是在說你呈現在你眼前被你看到的事物；

你可能沒有企圖、故意去看到某個東西，但東西就是被你看到了

另外，關乎視力的「看」，也是用See哦

例如：

1. 你今天有看到Tim嗎?

Have you seen Tim today?

2. 你看得清楚海豚的樣子嗎?

Can you see the dolphin clearly?

3. 你有看到他牽著女友嗎？

Did you see him holding his girlfriend’s hand?

4. 手錶有什麼問題嗎？讓我看看。

Are there any problems with your watch? Let me see.

●Watch／過去式 watched／完成式 watched

Watch是指專注地盯著某事物看，通常是會動的畫面  、東西等

如電影、電視、影片、表演等

例如

1. 我每天都邊吃晚飯邊看電視。

I watch TV when I eat dinner every day.

2. 無聊的時候我會在窗邊觀察人們。

I watch people at the windows when I am bored.

3. 那場表演值得一看

The show is worth watching.

●Read／過去式 read／完成式 read

Read就是閱讀、讀出來、解讀等

我們可以Read newspaper, magazines, book, words, articles…

甚至可以Read one’s mind哦

例如

1. 我爸回家的時候，我正在看書。

I was reading when my dad came home.

2. 我不知道他在想什麼，但是至少我能從他的表情知道他不是真心悔改。

I can’t read his mind, but his expression told me that he’s not regretful at all.

●Study／過去式 studied／完成式 studied

Study指的是研讀、學習

例如

1. 每天晚上睡前我都會看英文。

I study English every night before I go to bed.

2雖然讀書有時候可能很無聊，但是這是必要的。

Although studying might be boring sometimes, it’s necessary.

●Look／過去式 looked／完成式 looked

Look是指「(去)看」 「某事物看起來如何」

例如

1. 看！那是泰勒斯嗎？

Look! Is she Taylor Swift?

2. 過馬路前要先注意看兩側。

You should look both side before you cross the road.

3. 你看起來很累，你還好嗎？

You look so tired. Are you OK?

還有一些包含look、常用的片語用法，這邊也一併整理給大家！

1. Look after照顧

 ＊Mom always looks after me carefully.

（我媽媽總是細心的照顧我。）

2. Look for 找

＊I am looking for James Arthur’s new album. Can you tell me which shelf it is on?

（我在找James Arthur的新專輯。請問在哪一個架子上？）

3. Look forward to (Ving) 期待

＊I am looking forward to seeing you.

（我很期待看到你。）

4. Look up to 尊敬

＊I look up to my brother because he is a good teacher.

（我很尊敬我哥哥，他是個好老師。）

5. Take a look 看看、看一下某物

＊Can I take a look of your watch?

（我可以看一下你的手錶嗎？）

6. Look at 專注的看、有目標地看

＊Look at me! How’s this dress?

（看我！這件洋裝如何？）

＊What are you looking at?

（你在看什麼？）

學習這幾個不同的「看」之後，不知道你是不是分得清楚他們之間的差異了？

(1) watch

我們家周末時會一起坐在沙發上看影集。

(2) read

在閱讀自己的日記時，我想起了我的夢想。

(3) see

你有沒有看到那些猴子在爬樹？！

(4) look after

當我在照顧我的小兒子時，我大兒子會很忌妒。

(5) study

我們應該要認真念書，拿到好成績。
